Tropical Bowl 2018 Live stream. Two former BYU football players – Micah Hannemann and Tuni Kanuch will be playing some ball this weekend, taking part in the Spiral Tropical Bowl.
This is the third annual Spiral Tropical Bowl, which will take place in Daytona, Florida, Sunday morning. Scouts from both the NFL and CFL will be in attendance. Over the last two seasons, more than 100 players have gone from the Spiral Tropical Bowl to the NFL.Kanuch was a tenacious run-blocking guard for the Cougars. He has great size (6-foot-3, 320 lbs.) and plays with a mean streak that you want to see from your offensive linemen. During his tenure with BYU football he played in 50 games. While at Bingham High School (UT) in 2009 he was named Mr. Football by the Deseret News.
Hannemann was a play-making safety for BYU football from 2012, 2015-17. During that time he amassed 123 total tackles, one sack and four interceptions. He played in 44 games with the Cougars and had 14 career pass break ups.Both Kanuch and Hannemann will play on the National Team in the game, and will be coached by Mike Stock. Stock has more than 40 years of football coaching experience, amassing 26 years at the college level and 17 years in the NFL. Perhaps he’s most famously known for his tenure at Eastern Michigan, which saw the school lose 27-straight games.
hodes will suit up for the American (Red) Team at the 2018 Tropical Bowl, where he will be coached by experienced FBS coach Todd Littlejohn, who has coached for New Mexico State and the University of California. All three Jayhawks will suit up for the American Team and play under Littlejohn. The 2017 Tropical Bowl saw half of its roster go on to the NFL, as 27 NFL teams were in attendance and more than 70 total scouts flew in for the event.
